Growth Partner Program Helps 100+ Businesses Scale on Pay-for-Performance Terms

Vancouver, BC — Annual report shows significant outcomes for clients in Vancouver Business Services' performance-based engagement model.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA — January 20, 2025 — Vancouver Business Services, led by MBA-qualified CTO Ali Sedighi, today released a summary of outcomes from its Growth Partner Program for 2024. The program — a performance-based engagement model in which the firm invests time, expertise, and capital upfront and is compensated only against measurable client results — supported more than 100 operators across Canada and the United States through the year.

How the program works

The Growth Partner Program is designed for established service businesses ready for aggressive growth but unwilling to commit to an open-ended retainer. The firm assesses a candidate business across three dimensions: market readiness, operational capacity to absorb growth, and the clarity of the success metric the partnership will be measured against. Where all three are healthy, the firm structures a partnership with zero upfront investment from the client, with compensation tied to measurable business outcomes — typically revenue, qualified leads, or channel-specific performance.

Selected 2024 outcomes

  • Average 40% lift in conversion rates for clients engaged through Conv.ca in the CRO track.
  • Average 300% increase in qualified leads for trades businesses engaged through Trades.Agency.
  • Average 137% increase in service-call volume for HVAC contractors engaged through HVAC.Digital.
  • Average 3× lead-volume growth for HVAC clients on HVAC.Agency programs.
  • Average 250% increase in qualified buyer and seller leads for real estate clients on Realty.Agency.
  • Average 230% increase in qualified leads for roofing companies on Roofing.Marketing.
  • Average 215% increase in qualified leads for luxury BC real estate clients on Vancouver.Estate.

Why performance-based

"Retainers reward effort, not outcome," said Ali Sedighi, founder of Vancouver Business Services. "Performance partnerships flip that — and most service businesses are healthier for it. The 100+ operators we worked with in 2024 didn't pay us to be busy. They paid us when the scorecard moved."

The firm noted that not every business is a fit for the program: operators must have a working product or service, a baseline of cashflow, and an operational team capable of absorbing the growth the program is designed to generate. The firm operates a short discovery process before any partnership is structured.

2025 outlook

For 2025, Vancouver Business Services plans to deepen the Growth Partner Program inside its existing seven verticals rather than add new ones, with particular focus on BC, the broader Canadian market, and selected US Sunbelt markets.
